Spacious colonial New Zealand style, suitable for a couple or family and for longer stays.

The Cottage is sited in a private part of the property, and has been built in the colonial style similar to local old cob cottages. It has a separate large bedroom with queen sized bed and French doors opening onto a veranda looking over the neighbouring vineyards. There is also a single bed in the large living room area (there is room for a roll-out bed, available on request). There is a separate bathroom with shower and old claw foot bath, a large open plan living/kitchen area with pot-belly stove for winter warmth, a patio and BBQ area with great north facing views over a vineyard to the mountains.

Heating - as an alternative to the log burning pot-belly stove, there is a heat pump which makes The Cottage very cosy.

Tariff

NZ$200 per night for a couple, extra adult NZ$35 per night, children under 16 free. Tariff includes continental breakfast and in season homegrown fruit from the garden. Help yourselves to the lemons and other citrus fruit.
