Spacious colonial New Zealand style, suitable for a couple or family and for longer stays.

The Cottage is sited in a private part of the property, and has been built in the colonial style similar to local old cob cottages. It has a separate large bedroom with queen sized bed and French doors opening onto a veranda looking over the neighbouring vineyards. There is also a single bed in the large living room area (there is room for a roll-out bed, available on request). There is a separate bathroom with shower and old claw foot bath, a large open plan living/kitchen area with pot-belly stove, a patio and BBQ area with great north facing views over a vineyard to the mountains.

Heating is by heat pump, which makes The Cottage very cosy.

Tariff

NZ$220 per night for a couple, extra adult NZ$40 per night, children under 16 free. Tariff includes continental self-prepare breakfast and in season homegrown fruit from the garden. You are welcome to help yourselves to the lemons and other citrus fruit when in season.

Please note that we have a minimum 2 night stay policy for The Cottage between November 14th and March 31st.
