The renovated original Stables for the property are sited well away from the homestead in a romantic private setting. This lovely retreat is suitable for a couple on their New Zealand honeymoon. The Stables are fully self-contained with queen sized bed, en-suite shower room, small kitchen area and pot-belly stove for real cosiness in the winter. The Stables features a patio area with a BBQ, and French doors opening onto a private garden area. Another feature is the stunningly typical New Zealand view over the old lemon grove, the vineyard and the hills to the south. Parking is adjacent to The Stables. Feel free to feed our friendly sheep in the paddock.

Heating is by energy efficient heat pump. There is also a pot bellied stove to add to the romance.

Tariff

NZ$185 per night, including continental breakfast and in season homegrown fruit from the garden. You are welcome to help yourselves to the lemons and other citrus fruit when in season.

Please note that we have a minimum 2 night stay policy in The Stables between November 1st and March 31st.
